Living the Life-We Want 2

If we look at our life we will see that most of the time we do things just to please others, just to be accepted by others, rather than living the life we want. The journey for living the life we want is a sacred adventure and it is comprised of many steps. These steps will call for us to grow our character, become the mental architect of our own personal transformation and uncover all the provocative choices we will ever need to choose the road that leads to attaining the life we want.

Be Successful and Get What You Want - Effective Strategies For Success

The first step to attain the life we want is to take total responsibility for all our thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions. Awareness also plays a critical role in living the life we want. When we live our life through the eyes of awareness, the process of creating our results and experience of life no longer happens unconsciously and automatically. Instead, we begin to consciously observe how this happens. As we do this, it becomes impossible to create results that do not serve what we want. Such undesirable results can only be created unconsciously—outside our awareness.

We will also be called to deliberately:

  1. Explore the areas of valued living and learn to replace complaining with making requests and taking action that will achieve our desired outcomes.

  2. Be emotionally intelligent and take the position to accept that we cannot experience the life we want without choosing to bring healing to the wounded parts of us.

  3. Learn how to acquire discipline for ourselves on our own terms by daring to manifest the unique vision of success that we are meant to live. This is where it is critical to develop an intelligent decision process and use the practical tools (vision board, mind map and a plan with SMART goals) that will help us to achieve our desired goals.

Our comfort zone will make every effort to justify our reasons for not proceeding with replacing certain habits and limiting beliefs with things that are more conducive to attaining the life we want. Therefore, we must become the healthiest possible version of who we uniquely are and go beyond our old mechanical patterns and do the work that will help us identify exactly what's holding us back from living the life we want.

A call for us to create a coherent organization of mental processes by being emotionally intelligent, fearless, enthusiastic, self-directed, prepared, focused, proactive, on purpose and ELIMINATING the root-cause—by choosing to identify or even upgrade our “why”, tap into greater motivation and commitment to let go of yesteryears’ loss and past memories. These mental processes are not about perfection. It is a work that calls us to grow as spiritual beings, ACTIVELY REJECT mediocrity, raise our awareness, and have courage, discipline, and determination to do the smart work. Not accepting the call will menace the growth of our character, and we will not be receptive to become the mental architect of our own personal transformation.

As adults or functional human beings are we ready to live the life we want, a life worth living?
